This is all the food I ATE to loose 22 pounds and drop 16.5 inches in 9 weeksAnd one of the things I love about this system is that I get to make my own food. I won't eat prepackaged ANYTHING! So I was thrilled that was't the option. I'm a foodie, I owned restaurants, I have to eat good. And it's not hard to look like a rock star in the kitchen if you know the basics. But I love that I eat real food in order to get real results from this system. After the first week of following their menu plan, I lost 10lbs and I was hooked. Losing that amount of weight so quickly easily made it easy to stay on course for the weeks to come. Plus for most dinners I get to eat three times a day and meat of my choosing served with a green vegetable. Well that's easy enough. And it has been. The only thing that I had to get used to was eating a green vegetable with breakfast. But I'm cool with it now and don't know why I didn't do this any earlier. I must re-inforce that THIS IS NOT A DIET. It a fueling system in which you teach your body to stop converting sugar and carbs for energy and stored energy, instead it flips the with that allows the body to burn excess fat and remove toxins from your body. A WIN FREAKING WIN!!!! In order for this system to work you have to eat every meal and you can't skip any, you have to eat it all... So this is NOT A DIET. I will explain more as I continue to blog. But for now this is shat I ate to loose 22 pounds and 9.5 inches in 9 weeks time. Mind you, I ate much more than this, what you see is just the highlights of what I cared to photograph. But for the first time in my life I was taught what foods best brings on weight loss and I know I have learned to eat them in the correct combination and now people are starting to comment on my transformation and that a great feeling. I"m getting allot of "wow's" so either I was a real heifer, or I now look real good. Either way, I'll take it. I really can not believe how easy this system is, and how effective it is in transforming anyone who dares to take the 8 Day Challenge. I'm way past that now, once I completed my first 8 days, I knew I was not gonna stop, because this thing was actually working, and its easy to become addicted to the weight dropping all of a sudden. As of this writing, I am now 9 weeks into it and find it the easiest thing I've ever done. I can eat like this going to a restaurant, cruise ship, neighbors house, anything. Because you can always find a meat and a green vegetable on any menu or in anyones house. I'm doing this for life, I've got 40 pounds to go to look like Tarzan, and his vine is within reach, and taking this challenge is going to get me there. I am at a state where my friends and family are astounded at my transformation, and honestly so am I. Cause I can't believe if just fell off, and I only exercised twice in 9 weeks. So here it goes... Seasoned-Sunny-Side Up Eggs with Smoked Paprika and Garlic Served with Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Breakfast Chicken Sausage Chile Ancho-Lime Chicken Served with Mexican refried beans Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs w/ Tomato & Green Onions Served with roasted brussel sprouts Filet of Sai in Lemon-Tarragon and Garlic Served with roasted zucchini, vegan feta and anchovy medley Sun-dried Tomato, Peas and Turkey Bacon Cheese-less Quiche Classic Garlic Hamburger Steak Served with a beef barley and roasted brussel spouts Coconut Shrimp Scampi Served with a lemon chicken barley Sunny Side Up Eggs seasoned with Smoked Paprika & Garlic Topped with Scallions, Cilantro and Vegan Feta Served with steamed broccoli and chicken breakfast sausage Chicken Kiev Served with a lemon couscous and lemon barley medley Ahi Tuna in a Scallion Balsamic Burbon glaze Served with brussel sprouts, red onions, garlic, and carrots Broccoli, Sweet Potato and Beef Chorizo Omelet Spanish Filet of Flounder Served with a Spanish rice w/ peas Seared Scallops in a Maple Whiskey Onion glaze Brussel sprouts and carrots with caramelized onions Chicken Sausage and Scrambled Eggs Florentine Seared Sea Scallops with Glazed Brussel sprouts and carrots ![]() Mongolian Beef and Sesame Green beans and onions Chicken Buffalo Wings with saute'd peppers and onions Filet of Swai with Lemon cous cous and barley Chicken Mole Verde with Spanish Spinach and Zucchini 2 Sunny Side up eggs with Chicken Breakfast sausage on a Sweet Potato Waffle Chicken Parmesan over Italian Zucchini Noodles On top of all this food my coach tells me I need to take a cheat mealMy coach told me that I had to have a cheat meal, and I asked, "What do I need that for?" She said, "So you don't deprive yourself or get board." I said, I didn't have that problem, I ate all this food and still lost 10 lbs. I'm stoked." I told her, "I don't need a break." But she insisted. She said, "Eat something indulging that you would really like to eat." Honestly, I couldn't think of anything, cause it was all good. But again, she insisted. So I opted to make me a Vinny's Pizza. But, I made it with a gluten free crust. So on top of all the awesome food I ate all week, I still got to eat a stacked pizza. This system is INCREDIBLE~ Freakin' amazing. A Vinny's Pizza with Turkey Italian Sausage, spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, and turkey pepperoni on a rice flour crust. When it comes to food, presentation is everything, if your eye loves what it sees, it will enjoy it more. One of the keys in loosing weight is portion control. If you use a salad plate to eat on, your mind is tricked in thinking that it is eating more, because your portion will have the illusion of being bigger. These pictures are all taken on small salad plates and the portions look enormous. Where if you put a small portion on a large plate, your mind will tell you that you are eating a small portion and you will automatically put more food on your plate. Studies show that this simple change would result in an estimated weight loss of more than 10 pounds over the course of a year. Side note:I've already had a few people write in and say that my menu looks expensive and to them I say, "Thank you, but it isn't." I do 99.9% of my shopping at Aldi's. A little known fact is that Aldi is the largest grocery store in the world and I love this store. I actually prefer shopping there over it's sister store, Trader Joe's. If you shop at Aldi you can eat like a king on a Paupers Budget. It will improve your quality of life and save your family a ton of money in grocery bills.
