1. I am royal birth, my father was not only king, but the Chancellor of the Chamber of Princes, meaning he was the most prominent of the 600 odd ruling princes of India. 2. India was always a producer of the largest diamonds in history. Many of my families crown jewels of diamonds were so enormous that they served as eyes in our temple idols or worn in our turbans. In 1928 my father commissioned the High Jewelry House of Cartier to restyle our family jewels. To date, it was the largest commission by any one client. One such necklace incorporated 2,930 diamonds including the word's seventh largest diamond a 234.69 carat diamond, along with seven other diamonds which ranged from 18-73 carats.

I attained my doctorate in law and led the cricket and polo teams, I ran, played hockey and was a North Indian tennis champion.
